Storyline Intro:
Fire, one of the most controversial Indian films centers around two women, Sita and Radha (names apparently taken from the two God-wives of the two Indian epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata) , who are both emotionally and physically ignored by their husbands for different reasons. Their plight leads them to discover their own entity as lesbians. This brings about different turns and twists in the plot which created much ado among the Indian cultural and religious conservatives.
