Storyline Intro:
Set in backdrop of Lahore (now a Pakistani city) before the partition of India in 1947, this film centers around the life of a polio-attacked girl who narrates the story. Named Lenny, she strives to stay above the communal disharmony that went up high between the communities, the Sikhs, the Hindus and the Muslims in those days. The faithful separation leads to tragedies, affecting individual lives deeply, unfolding themselves gradually through historic accuracies depicted in the film.
